Everest Base Camp Trek - Holidays in Himalaya
annapurna
Annapurna Circuit
This probably the most famous in the world - and deservedly so. It's taken millions of years and unimaginably powerful forces to create this mountain range; the Himalayas is literally what happens when continents collide. It's even so vast that it's changed our global climate system - and nowhere is it more spectacular than the Everest region.

Our Everest Base Camp Trek Itinerary goes right into the heart of the Himalaya; taking in the famous trading town of Namche Bazaar, the world's highest Buddhist monastery and Everest Base Camp itself, where Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay set off on their epic journey in 1953. But best of all you get to see Everest itself; to see the earth's greatest accomplishment and witness its power and grace first-hand.

This is a classic trek around the world's tenth highest mountain, cross the classic Throng La Pass (5,416m/17,769ft) from Manang to Muktinath, take in fabulous mountain views from the summit of Poon Hill at 3,210m./10,531ft.

Annapurna Circuit
It is easy to understand why this tea-house trek is a popular classic. It includes the world’s highest trekking pass, point blank Annapurna mountain views, and an animated postcard of magnificent changing scenery, together with Dahl Baht, croissants and famous apple pie on route.   The standard of food and lodgings is excellent whilst the trek itself is a challenging circumference of the Annapurna massif. Sharing the trail with mule trains, we walk for 21 days through an enormous variety of landscapes – jungle lowlands, rivers, waterfalls, natural hot springs, to Rhododendron forests, corn-fields, apple groves, and cool fir forests. Our itinerary allows time to soak up the wonderful variety of culture that this trek is also famous for– visiting intriguing maize-like villages, monasteries, temples and prayer wheels. Staying in lodges also gives us a first hand taste of the local cultures.  The trek provides exceptional views of the towering white-capped Annapurna range. And up so close you could almost reach out and leave a fingerprint in the thick snowcaps.
